Default 3 bank on board charger

Promariner 3 bank 20 amp charger with distributed bank charging. This means it changes the amperage to each battery so the lowest charged battery gets more amperage to bring it to full charge quicker. Worked great on my boat but I’ve switched to Lithium batteries and this one won’t work foe me. It handles lead acid and gel type batteries only.

    Grenada. $140

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

    Good luck with the sale!

Mind sharing what you replaced it with that handles the lithiums?

What is the amp per battery? I’m not familiar with this one! Is it 20 amps?

I couldn’t quite figure that out either. But from my reading it’s 20 total amps and the on board management system senses the state of charge on the 3 banks and applies the available amperage to each bank. So, if one battery is charged and 2 are at 50% the charger applies 10
Amps to each of the two batteries. If all 3 are Evenly charged, it would apply 6.67 amps to each battery.

All I know for sure is that it never failed to bring all 3 of my batteries back to full charge overnight from fishing the previous day and I fished a lot of 8-10 hour days over the last year.

This one came with my boat. It appears to be with the original purchase and was delivered new in late 2018. So that puts it at a little over 2 years old.

I have the same charger on my skeeter and I bought it new over 6 years ago. Never had any issues with it.
