    Default Went yesterday

Oh slow day, but weather was beautiful and very relaxing. Surgery day next week for Mrs Slab Hunter, so I’ll be taking care of her for a while. Anyway caught around 35, kept 11.
Scattered fish, but eggs are large and bloody and they are really trying to get ready to spawn. About 3 weeks and it should be on at Saline….

Caught shallow and 13 feet. So many dinks.

Can't decide when to start heading out there. I probably need to check the dates on my old pics.

Nice! What was your water temp? It was high 40s when I fished Sunday. Fish had eggs but didn't seem like they were close yet to me. This is around Lafayette area. But I think next good warm up should do the trick.

Water temperature was 46 degrees. I don’t understand what is going on but I do know that they will be actively getting the beds ready at 56 degrees. Spawn will start around 61 degrees.
