I tried Slime Line, didn’t really like it for casting, seamed to twist a lot on the 6
    Lb, just my two cents!

Both sight edition & twitch master. I have tried different knots mostly loop or trilene. I do mostly jig fishing.

Wow….I’ve used both those. Been using the Sight Edition for about 4 years now. Landed several 20 inch Smallies using 3# Sight Edition. Been using the Twitch Master for about a year. Landed quite a few 20 inch trout in current with it. I use a Palomar only as I’m too old and fumbley finger use others. I like both lines but am now only using the Twitch Master. I’m sure Varivas America would want to hear about that.

    Regards

Yikes, this is disappointing to hear as I just received 2 spools of Twitch Master today, especially after paying what I definitely consider a large premium compared to my normal lines (Stren Crappie Mono 4# which has apparently been discontinued) I will still give it a try though as soon as the thinner ice is gone.

As far as the OP question. I really wanted to like the Slime Line, but I just wasn't a fan at all.

Yeah, I was swayed by the mixed reviews so just happened to see spoils of Stren Magnathin on clearance at my nearest Cabela’s today so picked up a couple spools of that for a pretty good price.

    breaks way to easy !
it’s just hard to beat a fresh roll of vicious!
