    Default First try with crinkle coat


    First shot at crinkle coat with silver/ chartruce. What y’all think? 1/4 oz round all jig, lemon yellow body and olive tail,,,,sorta funky colors,,,we’ll see if they catch fish

    Very nice! A whole lot better than my first try. I have noticed though everyone using larger size jig than me, I guess size does matter…..lol

    Dave ,,exactly! Temperature on small jigs is harder to control,,,,big ones are way easier…

    My first several attempts, I got about 50% success ratio ,,,so it’s definitely a learning curve,,,,trick is to keep temps down at first,,,just enough to melt the powder coat,then redip in crinkle paint,,,,if it doesn’t fully melt,,,just wait a few seconds then reheat from a distance I found was best,,,,,
