    Yeah your right. No Bluetooth on older units.
    I have seen a lot of 859 units and all were 859ci that has internal antenna for GPS.

    BUT they can still use the antenna, it can be placed above the transducer for a more accurate reading. I use one on my 998.

    Big difference mounting puck close to transducer . I like the one with compass/heading sensor over the old one cause it does away with donut hole on screen when not moving boat
