    Default Silver Colored Crappie Jigs

I read an article about colors for clear water Crappie and silver was mentioned as one of the best colors for clear water. I have thought about silver metallic chenille for the body and a silver spinner blade on a road runner. And, of course, there is the silver jig head. Also, a strand or 2 of a silvery Krystal Flash in the Tail.

    1. What other ideas have you guys found that incorporate silver?

    And

    2. What colors for the head and tail do you guys like with a silver body?

Here are a few jigs I've made recently that incorporate silver in one way or another. Silver isn't just limited to clear water. Most the water I fish is stained or muddy. I have one lake that is pretty clear and I've fished the brightest colors in it like it was muddy and caught them.

Very nice jigs. The bottom one except with unpainted head has been killer lately for me. Looks sharp with the black head.

Plain lead head, winter run purple OR midnight fire, and gray marabou
    The blacked out one
The black pattern shown as well
As well as plain head, red thread, and gray body.

And right side, top row, far left, as well as the blue beside it.

Seen jigs modeled on lots of things but a trampoline is a new one! It works well though!

What is the name of the chenillle in the bottom picture? The jig with the black head? And where can I get some like it?

    Thanks

I find a lot of better colors of chenille at woods and water
    Ranger boats
    Perotti pro holders
    Avery outdoors superstore
