    Default Mixing custom paints

I was wanting some brighter colors and started looking for something different. Had a jar of Pearl Ex Pigments that I bought many moons ago and started mixing it into a few colors and liked the results so I went to the hobby shop and got seven more colors to start. I mixed five colors using the pearl ex, clear powder paint, .004 glitter and UV Blast. I painted some 1/4 oz football and poison tails finishing with silver crinkle and baked them. Here are just a few, will be adding more colors and start painting some crappie jigs soon.Name: IMG_2729.jpg

I'm going to the hobby shop today and orange and yellow is on my list. The pigments are light and fluffy, just what I was looking for so it takes a lot of shaking to mix properly but wow!!! The results are amazing.

I don’t understand how you mix the paint and how they don’t look all grey as it does when mix paints,,,can you explain how multiple colors separate,,,,love the ones with green,,looks mighty foggy…..

they look great Jim. Will buy some from you when you get them way you want them.

BTW will take 3 dozen of those feather ones in smaller sizes too. love the ones I have already and several of my buddies want some.

knew on days like these that you would be up early painting and tying. LOL
