    Default Pumping Nibbles

Took some advise from CrappiePappy and made a scent injector using a Epoxy Injection syringe. Mixed Plastic Bait Oil, Liquid Scent, and old Nibbles till a paste formed. Loaded the paste in the back of the syringe (West Systems Epoxy brand) and went fishing. It works great but after injecting you have to pull back on the plunger to stop the flow.

Looks good. I wonder if a cajun injector would work.

It would, but bigger ain't better in this case, as the nibbles can/will dry out over time. My suggestion has always been to use a Oral Med Syringe in the 3-10ml size range. You can buy them, or maybe get one free at your local Pharmacy. I suggested the Oral syringe, rather than any form of "injection" type syringe, for two reasons : the oral syringe tip is longer & smooth/rounded ... and you won't have to explain why you have a "injection syringe" to any F&W Officer

Just spray your nibbles with Slab Sauce makes a deadly injection. Works for me.

Ah, yes ... The Bait Pump. Boy did we have some knock-down drag-out discussions about that thing. First off it was the best thing going, but expensive at $20/ea., then some of them started breaking (no warranty if I remember correctly), then I think the price went up .... and after that I don't remember hearing much about it.

I did a test using a 5ml oral med syringe, just to see if it would work, and took several pics of the process. This is the final pic showing the results. (Fresh Nibbles were used)
