Often we turn to faith in times of need, however, this post is more for praise as the only way I can explain the fishing Thursday and Friday. My Lord blessed (2) windows of opportunity of low winds & limits by 10:30 each morning. Thursday truth be told actually was 20 fish, but the multiple pole bending swayed the clicker, as after 10:30 I was upgrading off what I thought was 25....anyways the good size fish just kept coming....As for the report lake Jesup, west of bird island (cut the lake half) open water long-lining, water temp 73 F, anything w/chartreuse in it, bite slows if the wind comes up. Pics of a bruiser rows of 13" fish, threw back everything under 12" & was good to see many of "next yrs" fish set free for future seed. Such a good feeling when the times you finally get to go, are as exceedingly beyond your expectations. Through good times & bad our Lord is there for the calling & in charge, the only following I need & hopefully you as well...Happy Holidays , tight lines, & I'll see ya next yr, schedule dictates no more fishing till then...tight lines.

Nice looking fish Jeff. Hopefully the memory of those two trips will hold you til next year. The river is dead so I’m going to target the catfish bite. The 9lb 110z one yesterday peaked my interest some.
