You better bring a cooler if you want fish. You’re going to need it. Those are real nice, I’d fish em with a smile.

    Today was a bust !
I had better luck yesterday at our town pond .
I fished my ties , lost two of them when I set the hook into what I think was something wood . Felt like a tap . .
After a couple hours of throwing hand tied jigs , I switched to a 1” Gulp minnow on a 1/64 jighead and then finally tried a trout magnet on a 1/64 . Nothing !
    Not even a nibble .
Weather was warm for this time of year. Mid 60’s but cloudy .
Fun day of fishing , terrible day of catching.
I did accomplish a couple of things I wanted to find out .
My 7’ Procyon doesn’t cast a 1/64 jig any farther than my 5’4” St. Croix Panfish rod . Both had similar 1000 reels with same SOS 2# line .
I think I’ve finally found a rod for casting jigs that I could call a favorite. The 5’4” SC Panfish . A fast action , sensitive rod that a joy to fish for several hours without wearing me out .

Tied a couple 1/100th tiny woolyboogers this morning for those cold water finicky gills .
I’ll have to cast these with a float , but maybe it’ll be the answer to removing the skunk next trip .

Besides all the good-looking jigs, I like that case, as well...sometimes I think I'm carrying a suitcase for fishing out of.

Thanks . Right now I have several small fly cases to keep my micro jigs in .
I’m planning to use a large case to store jigs in and to use when I’m boat fishing , but when I’m bank fishing , I’ll carry a small case and pick out what I think I’ll need for that trip .
