I'll second what arkcrappie said. Anytime you see leaves going up river, it might be a good place to try. We always try and fish the coves off the river also. I use a purple and chartreuse umbrella tube on an 1/8 ounce insert jig head 98 percent of the time.

Yesterday on black.. 14 nice bass in 1 spot. 14 nice crappie in another. Rest of the 2 miles of river...nothing but small bluegills.

All bets are off since the 11 or 12 foot rise.hope when it comes down a bit the walleye might show up. Probably not but we will try em.
