I do well with them, as many on here can attest. Long lining, under a float and every other way. There not always the best jig but some times there unbeatable. Like most things you just have to use them long enough to get confident in them. White an chartreuse is one of my favorite

I tied some in the gray ghost pattern. They worked very well on fish chasing shad. Also white tail with a red thread neck works well on them also

My favorite thing is the low cost. I'll drop a marabou into the middle of anything and not worry about breaking off and tie on a new one. Often I'm putting fish out of a jungle that others won't bury a jig into. White for clear water, Chartreuse as it gets cloudy to muddy. Sometimes other colors or jigs will work better, but Marabou always works if they'll bite at all.![]()

I have pulled them out of brush and bent the hook back into shape until the hook broke. The rest of the jig was still in good shape
