    Default Best line for livescope

Any suggestions for line on my single poles for livescope. I use a jig and a weight about 18 inches above and with both power pro braid and stren mono i get tremendous line twist. Looking for suggestions. Have respooled and even tried inline swivels.

I like K9 Crappie Braid. That said, line twist is just part of the deal when vertical jigging. Watch some of Jeremy Mattingly’s videos on Livescoping. He puts his rods in a holder that keeps them at about a 60-70 degree slope when not in use. It really seems to help his line twist issues.

The wired thing is it wasn’t so bad in the summer. It has been drastic lately. Fishing depth about the same. Will try some of the k9

I rarely vertical jig when using Livescope. I use a double jig rig and flip cast out past my target, letting the jigs pendulum swing back to the target ....which is usually 15-20ft away. I'm using a 12' BGJP & 6# test hi-vis mono, but my mentor uses 10# test clear mono (but he also fishes another lake that has much clearer water, normally).
