    Default Pulling/pushing cranks

Im going to try pulling some crankbaits with 1-2oz weights. Do you guys increase your line size or does 6# work ok?

I used braid when I pushed with weights. Figured the smaller diameter would help the baits stay down.

For pushing Crankbaits,,,,I use a 3 oz. trolling sinker to control my depth and I use 10 lb Viscous mono. I do not use any weight when pulling , I control my depth by length of line out at 1.8 mph
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Thanks G, I plan on pulling cranks next summer if I get my stock built up. Do you use the Pico weights with swivels?

I only use Pico trolling weights when I push crank baits. Sometimes I push the same time. Most of the time I just pull them.
