    Middle of the night I had wake boats gpimg through a string of jugs. No nav lights at all. Making trips back a forth to a restaurant/bar on the water. Submerged logs everwhere through that mud flat. Kept waiting on one of them to find one in those V drive boats

    the average public waters can be quite dangerous at times here too .....
    not sure how it is actually "legal" to operate a vehicle that causes DANGEROUS wakes with a law about boating that clearly indicates you cannot produce a dangerous wake

    yes sir , the lakes are settling down right now , water temps below 80 slow lots of the weekenders down bigtime .
    last check we were in the upper 70 range locally

    Water in that feeder creek system was 66 last weekend. Water feeds in out of the mountains so it is usually cooler than the main lake

    I usually fish the catfish jugs there. Crappie is good there in the spring and late fall before they drop the lake to winter pool

    That is when they take a heavy duty magnet and tie a rope to it, throw it in the water and pull it back. The goal is to bring in anything metal and potentially valuable.
