Thread: Kayak Trip Report, Bradford Sinks

I finally got a chance to get on the water today, fished Bradford Sinks on Redstone Arsenal from 6:30AM till noon. It took me a couple hours to locate the fish, but once I found the bait it was game on. I kept a limit and returned 15 or 20 that were over 12 inches. Numerous short fish and a couple dozen bass. All fish came spider rigging Chartreuse Bobby Garlands about three to four feet deep in 6 feet of water. Every time I'd find the baitfish a couple poles would go down. Fun morning! The water was 78 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 81 by noon. Visibility of about 12 inches.
