Around $1000 is usually the going rate for a used Terrova 80 with Ipilot. I paid $500 for mine, but it is a much older model.
The $2399 for the I pilot link was the same price that the smiling online retail giant had them liated for

Sounds way high for that old of a model. Link is worth it if you have compatible graph.

6 years old,I think the price is a bit high and it would be the old spot lock more like general area lock

I have the ultrex, bought it new when they first started shipping.
I would buy néw if I could.
Next TM I buy, I am going to look at the new technology. Like the Force from Garmin.
    Surely MK has something similar.
Supposed to be easier on batteries

Read this post carefully...then walk away from the deal.. if this motor was a 2017 or newer motor it still would be a bad deal. If this motor was a 2021 I-Pilot/link it would still leave you wanting a better gps trolling motor.

As stated above, spot lock is terrible compared to current models.
Just buy new and get a warranty.
New board to update spot lock is easy to install but not worth spending the money on 2015 model. Close to 500 bucks and you will need blue tooth puck to get the jog feature.
I would stay away from it and invest in a new Ultrex.
    Good luck
    Chuck.

I'm never willing to pay over 1/2 the price of a new model for any used fishing electronics/motors. My advice- save your money and buy new. You'll know exactly how it has been treated and get a 2 year warranty! I can't tell you how many outboards I've seen advertised online that say it only has 30 hours on the motor, and all the paint is worn off the prop and skeg!!LOL! I do not know of any good way to determine if a used trolling motor will hold up for any length of time. That price is way too high for me to consider. Good luck.
