Thread: Green Skunk

one of my condos i set a while back never seams to have crappie in it .
yesterday I found out why ,she was a brute on my fast light 5.5 rod
blew the drag up over and over and took to the cartwheeling in the air thing over and over
she slammed off a boat in the air at one point and most of my rod stayed under the water during the struggle
after her first jump right in front of me at about 10 feet , i thought this is over quickly
and by no means was it and then much to my surprise .....
the episode ended when i pulled her out of the water by her big lip
congrats on your green skunk fish brother
it happens to the best of us sometimes

I broke one of my favorite bad boy rods yesterday and to be sure something would have on the bass if I tried that trick
