I will put it back in the container if it still looks good. If I cut a jig head off to retie knot I will usually replace it. Since I fish around a lot wood. I end up pulling the jig free and bending the hook back to shape.

I was curious what you guys do when your done with a jig and go to switch.......let's say you fished with the jig a bit but no luck and want to swap colors and it's still in good shape. Do you put it back to reuse again or do you trash it? I find sometimes even though the bait is in good shape on the outside once you rig it once the wire keeper/collar of the jig kind of messes up the inside integrity and makes the next time you use the bait "not snug" when rigged. Wanted to hear your all's opinions.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass alongBuckeyeCrappie LIKED above post
I always save my jigs for losing on brush another time......
I do let any hand tie jigs dry before putting back in a box.
dump em. they won't stay in place
soft plastics that is
On the soft plastics I usually cut the head off which leaves a smaller bait but new area to hook plastic to.

Let dry reuse
Maybe they will bite this one……
Locktite Super Glue Gel overcomes that for us, sits in the tray right next to Slabsauce and crappie nibbles.
I pitch them, I figure fishing time is valuable enough to use a few stingers per trip, not anything like the lifelike crankbaits that cost 25$ or more each. I don't move the boat to mess with a snag either, break it off, and tie a new one. I have fished in the big round rocks where if a fish doesn't get it first, it probably will only last one or two casts.
