    Default Enid report


    Fished Enid today and had a blast! Caught a ton of fish but the keeper to short ratio was almost comical nevertheless had a great time getting out on the lake!     I knew I should have gone today and carried my grandson. I went there last Friday and caught one short.
    Cranks, jigs or minnows?

    Pushing minnows and jigs fished slow fast and everything in between caught fish eitherway! I bet you could catch some on cranks too

    Yes sir I talked to gentleman at the boat ramp and he said they fished Friday and caught 87 fish with only two keepers so if they ever hit a growth spurt there oughta be plenty of keepers haha

    That’s the problem. With so many short fish eating up the shad, growth rate is stunted at best. More than likely going the other way. Pretty soon all you’ll be able to catch is 10 inchers. Then 9 …

    I agree I think a 10” limit instead of the 12” would do Enid some good or do a 5 of the 15 fish limit can be under 12” but I’m sir the biologists are looking at it and will come up with something
