    Default OK Bigby I beat forgetting the drain plug!


    Guess what I forgot tonight the prop to my trolling motor.

    I loaned it to Mark at Crappie camp because his broke and he brought it to me Monday. tonight I was taking Dave gotcrappie fishing at Smithville, I put it on the counter to not forget it and looked right at it before I left........

    We launched the boat and headed up the river, I shut down, dropped the trolling motor hit the pedal and nothing but I could hear it running and OMG............... NO PROP!

    Luckily for us my daughter was at home and brought it to the ramp for us!

    Oh I forgot the report - slow but we ended up with 10 or 12 didn't count. Fished the banks pitching and slow reeling. Lost a couple and Dave and I got out - always fun talking to him - but the best part is we caught Joyce a Fish Dinner!!!!

    day dreamer - I was going to buy a spare, but an $80 pill was too big to swallow after purchasing 4 new rods and a new storage rack system. I used less than $80 in fuel and saved another $20 on camping during that trip. LoL
