Thread: Grayson lake 3/27/21

Lake looked much better today. Caught 6 long lining jigs and 15 or so using a jig under a float set at 3ft. The ones I caught long lining were much smaller than the ones caught on the float. Average size was 8 inch. Biggest was 9.5 inch. These fish were thicker (fatter) on average than what I’m used to seeing form this lake, so that’s promising. Water temp was 50-53 degrees. Fish were caught in 3-10 fow around brush. All fish were caught on chartreuse crappie magnet under float. Long lining the only colors that worked were chartreuse with sparkle tube jig, and a red/chartreuse jig. Wouldn’t touch any other colors. 1-1.2mph seemed to be the speed they were liking. Major improvement since last week, things are getting better every day
