Does anyone know what the status of Vicious line is. Does not seem to be any of the 1/4 lb spools in Hi Vis 4# test available. If they are out of business how does Crappie Maxx, Lews Crappie or Mr Crappie compare? I have used the Vicious for a long time and like it.

I would check with Grizzly Jig. That’s where mine came from and they usually have about everything. Plus they are a site sponsor.

+1 to SD’S above suggestion. Just took a peek at Grizzly and they have the 1/4 HiViz 4lb in stock.

Thanks to both of you. I ordered 2 spools from Grizzly. The shipping is a little high so I bought 2 spools. If you want to see my ugly face I,m the old fella with Bee in most of his pics.

Yeah I usually order a list of items to get bang for buck out of shipping as well. You guys catch some beautiful crappie up there.... and huge slabs at that! Awesome!

MAINEIAC, you are one lucky dude. We're all jealous, that is such a great fishery but slightly too far to drive.

Never tried vicious line. I’ve pretty much settled on suffix mono. Don’t have the line memory problems with it and very abrasion resistance I just got in 2400 yds of 4lb test neon lime sufix advance mono to make it thru the summer.
