Why not just run a house battery for everything? Bilge, lights, all graphs, aerator, and your LS. A 100AH deep cycle battery is $100, hook it up to your onboard charger, plug it in and forget it. No hassle of removing it, charging it separately, and then forgetting it at home. Your starting/trolling batteries can be left alone to their respective duties.

Chances are if you have livescope, you have a boat big enough to fit another battery, and the weight is of little consequence.

Next post.... Why am I getting this interference on my livescope? It only does it when my bilge pump is running or the aerator kicks on.

Then there would be a whole lot of people with bad interference problems. I'm not the only one who doesn't want a dedicated livescope battery.

If you have Livescope running off the same battery as those pumps .... it "might" be that's the problem.

Can you more explicitly explain this "interference" ?? Do you see a voltage drop on your Garmin screen when the pumps activate ??

I have an amped outdoors 32ah. I am running 2 helix 7's, an echomap plus 93sv, and the black box. I begin with 16.5 volts and have fished 10 hours and still have 13.7 volts left. I typically turn off one of the 7's while fishing as i just use for maps while running. Have taken it back out the next day for 6 more hours before shut off. Just my experience.

I use a 35ah with no problems.

people are running 93 sv's off of 24 volt systems ?

Good info .. thanks for sharing. I also bought the 32ah and hope to install my LS this week. Your results tell me I did the right thing!
