    Default Great morning!

Started an hour or so before the sun began to make an appearance but didn't manage to pull a single fish. Sounder was marking well but no hits. As soon as some light began to show, the bite was on and it didn't slow for some time.

6-8 feet of water majority of morning, long lining. Trolling motor died and we ended with 46 keepers. Wish I would have taken some pictures with fish on the measuring stick. These pics don't do these fish justice.

****Trolling .8 mph against current, 1.4 with current. Double jigged, 1/16th road runner with chartreuse tail on bottom jig then a 1/32 assorted colors on the top jig about 8 -12 inches above bottom jig.****

I agree, great report. That’s a bunch more fish than I like to clean, but I’ll bet the freezer looks good right about now. Glad to see you got into em and had a fun time with em, and a big Welcome from Debary, just above Lake Monroe.

Monroe isn't too far off where i picked up these guys. Been wanting to take a day and try Monroe. Freezer is looking great, also thinking I need to invest on an electric knife hahaha

That's a fine take, hopefully that Phantom fella reads this & rethinks the double rig set up, it works good, just have to consider how far back & weight each pole is & you will eliminate any tangles, unless there's wind to contend with, but well worth it, Sweet!!

If you need an electric fillet knife go to Wal-mart to the kitchen appliance and supplies area and get the Black & Decker electric knife for $15.00. I guess they have it in the kitchen section as a turkey/ham carving knife but it is an excellent fish fillet knife. I have filleted hundreds of specks with it and had no issues. Works as good as any of the expensive electric fillet knifes I have owned.

Hmm I'm going to give this a try. Sure as heck beats dropping $100 + on one although I do love Bubba blades.
