    Hey guys. Thanks for the big welcome. I am excited to join this awesome community. A little bit about me:

    I am from Huntsville, AL. My main “big lake” is Guntersville Lake. I have a few creek channels I fish as well.

    My dad took me fishing growing up as a child. We mainly fished for crappie, bream and the occasional bass. We always had a good time and he taught me to have fun while fishing. We had a old 1965 14’ Alumacraft v-hull with a wood transom and an old Johnson motor.

    Fast forward to 2020 and I have now purchased a 2020 14’ Alumacraft. All I have is a trolling motor right now but my wife, 2 kids and I are enjoying it so much. I have even thought of trading it in on a larger boat w/ a motor and it being our keeper boat.

    Anyways....I hope to learn all the techniques and concepts of Crappie fishing again. We mainly cane pole fished back in the old ‘65.
