Stuttgart/Clarendon Area Fishing??
Out of state guy here. We find ourselves chasing ducks around white river quite often, would like to pass our afternoons by with a jiggin rod. I've passed by Peckerwood Lake near Hazen a few times, is it worth a shot? Are there any other lakes within a reasonable drive from that area? any fishing tips or info on the area appreciated

Grab a passel of yellow and white curly tail jigs and a sack full of 1/4 ounce jigs, a dozen or so 3/4 0z jigging/casting spoons. Perhaps a tub of Doc's catfish bait and a dozen dipping worms for if the stripers and whites are tough (they usually aren't) and head down to the dam below Pendleton bridge. Might come back next time to fish and ask about the hunting.
