And drdore would know. I came close to wearing him out a few times. He might have been on the fence when I called him but he always wound up going, and did we have some good times. Fish count was close to the same Though. Good memories Sam.
Jeff, I see your striped spinner still doing the deal, good stuff there. You finished out the day in fine style.

Tim, actually only caught throwbacks after seeing you, so any you left are still there....Yep that bait has been good for the bigger fish, had been doing good w/pearl berkeley grub like a Mr. Twister, but can't find them anymore...got a tip @ the Slabfest & those Bobby Garland strollers may have become "this yrs" bait for me to pair w/bettlespins so far....noticed in 1 of your pics the slablious blue tuxedo paddle tail=another bait that does well @ Monroe....

crappie down !skeetbum thanked you for this post
Seems to be dark bodies and bright chartreuse tails are doing the lion’s share. June bug, firefly, purple, and sometimes pumpkin with bright tails during overcast or partly cloudy conditions. Tried a white roadrunner heads and a white body with a red tail........zip. I believe depth is the key nowadays so pay attention to what’s busy and what isn’t.
