    Default Duolocks

Curious as to what size Duolock snaps you are using for cranks. I want to start a young feller off with snaps until I can get him taught how to tie loop knots. He's a rookie and I'm taking him 1 step at a time to minimize frustration Duolocks

I have used #1 and #2. I like #2 best overall because they are a little easier to operate with my old hands. Couldn’t tell any real difference in lure performance.

VMC makes a crankbait snap with a wider loop just for crankbaits.

I prefer the duo locks over the loop knot for the durability where the line goes thru the loop on the lure. #2 for me.

I like them either size. Tying knots keeps getting tougher for me.

I ended up with the size 2. Went to Walmart and they only had the Eagle Claw brand so I bought a pack for 92 cents.
