Well it happened... I broke a JDM rod... luckily it was only my MajorCraft Triple Cross... I have no idea what happened other than I shook it after I put the new Luvias on it and it folded like a twig 2nd eyelet up from the bottom of the tip section... already sent an email to Digitaka inquiring about a new tip... I am fortunate it was the Triple Cross...
That stinks, hopefully they can get you fixed up.
For those of us that haven't broken our Triple Cross's tip - yet - please let us know the cost when you find out so that we can hide some money in the sock drawer.

Mine cost 9200 JPY ($88 at today's rate) including shipping last Feb. Whacked it on something while shooting docks, and knocked the last inch off. I re-glued the tip guide on it almost good as new, and still have it for a spare, but I bought the replacement tip section anyway.

Not a ultralight but does anyone have any experience with the Major Craft Basspara rods? I have a couple of Major Craft rods and really like them and am looking for another bass fishing rod, since that seems to be all I have been fishing for lately. This would be a worm, or drop shot rod.
Thanks,
Flintcreek.
I ordered my sons a couple of Basspara UL rods about 9 years back. I thought they were good value for the money paid. The problem ordering one today is the shipping....the 2 I ordered had free shipping then. With shipping running close to about 29 bucks not sure at the total price it is a good value. Digitaka does not sell them as I’m sure there is just not a lot of room for profit on those rods. Meant to add they came out with a totally new model Basspara in 2019.
