Jordan today a few surprises
Went to Jordan today with a buddy started around 9:00am, fished in our normal spots caught a few good crappie, decided to move around 11 went to a spot I have never really fished set rods down boom first one went off took about 50 yds of line then throwed the hook, then about in about 10 ft 2 rods go down and we caught the 2 biggest at one time, fished in this area till 4pm ended up with 6 hookups but only got 3 to the boat on crappie hooks and 10-12 ft rods but seems the stripers are still in there forgot to mention we also ended up with around 20 crappie and 20 white perch. I will tell you we caught them almost at the opening where the river comes in near Roberson creek.

Man 90 views and no comments and no takers on my story lol you guys are smarter than I thought,ok we were crappie fishing and did have 6 stripers on but we were at BADIN had a ball today, just trying to have some fun thought maybe I would get something stirred up,but I guess not,the stripers were very unexpected but very fun on long rods and lite line. Caught 20 or so crappie in the same spot as the stripers in 16-20 ft on minnows.

I've caught some good stripers on Jordan while crappie fishing, but not in the last few years. They can mess up a tight-lining spread worse than a catfish.

Might need to fish Jordan some, mainly fish Harris but the variety in Jordan is starting to look attractive. Would love to catch some white bass and striped bass. Great day of fishing!
