Thread: 1991 RANGER 681C front livewell

My front livewell will not drain. This livewell does not have an overflow or fill; only a drain. I tried to run a snake down the drain. I got 15' of snake into the line and hit a dead end.

i have two livewell control valves: one serves the rear bait well and the other serves the rear livewell.

Does anyone know where the drain from the front livewell terminates?

Sure it's a livewell and not a cooler? I have a 93 basscat and the front one has only a drain and is designed to be a cooler. When it drains it just drains into the hull of the boat, comes out when I pull the boats drain plug.
