Well, made it back home from Dardanelle. Thoroughly enjoyed the weather, the scenery, and my guide (Charles Morrison with Classic Catch Guide Services - great guy), but the fishing was really poor. So many shad all over the lake, that the fish didn't want anything we could throw at 'em. Best I could do was catch a white perch and a handful of young bass on jerkbaits. Minnows, jigs, spinners, topwater, nothing else really worked. I hope to give it another shot in a different season, either in spring for the spawn, or in winter where the fish are more desperate.
