i think in most sports a "pro" is defined as someone who gets paid to play .
i think that even if its just considered donations as in gifts or free merchandise it might be misconstrued to some degree you are a "pro".
of course almost EVERY "pro" uses his or her given names , you know the ole "look at me " thing .
