Thread: Crappie Nibbles / Slab Bites -- why don't fish eat them?

In the world of scents ,the shall we say scientific way to decide if one is good or not to ketch fish with here is what a bait/scent manufacturer told me about how he developed a well known scent brand he sells today .
think about it in this type of scenario
1 ...there is positive scent , fish go to it and inspect it and it ATTRACTS them
2 ...there is neutral scent , fish dont have a noticeable reaction to it either way
3 ...there is negative scent , fish avoid it and dont care for it .
some of the things fish smell in the water that they like amazes me , my wife about got pulled of the dock the other day goofing around and putting some of the kids strawberry twizzler on her hook ! we never saw what goliath hit it but to be sure it almost broke some tackle before it escaped . i think it was likely a big carp but to be sure it liked it strawberry scented sugary candy
Remember Fle Fly lure flavor ? aka :bubblegum" it works , i know for sure .
And Slab sauce in the garlic version , good stuff right there .
fish have nostrils and they use them for sure

I feel like if my jig doesn't have a glow white nibble on it I don't have a bait on. My partner never uses them and catches as many as I do.
