Default Front livewell or extra storage?

I primarily crappie and bream fish, but can’t decided on which layout I want in a boat. I’d say I’m about 50/50 on single pole vs spider rigging, depending on time of year and have never tournament fished.

It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

I have the rt188c. Specifically got it for the front well. Have used it for just about a year now and was really happy with it. Just less moving and more time fishing was my thought.

My last 2 trips out I didn’t fill it and just started throwing them in the back well. Turns out, I’m just as happy only using the back well. So at this point I wish I had the extra storage.

I use my front well for storage. It'll always be there if I decide to use it for live fish.

Best of both worlds, but I use use mine mostly for fish... Storage if needed.

I also have one, and mostly use it for storage, but also know it's there if I need it.

All my fish go in the front livewell, don't have to move. Also have front storage.

You could always put a plug in the livewell and make it dry storage

Or you could put plug it and put ice in it and use it for a cooler....keep your lunch and drinks in it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I use a big cooler for a live well. My boat live well is used for storage. Less fish handling this way, don't have to take fish out of a live well and then put into a cooler. Win, win...........livewell stays clean and good smelling and my hands end up being finned less.

I here ya fellas. And I thought the same about front live well which is why I bought the 188c. I’m not hating on it.
I just think that the 188 has even more storage and still has the rear well which is all that I’d ever used prior the the 188c.
I’d probably go without the front well if I chose again.
Not related to this thread but I’d also get without carpet.
