    Default Kentucky Lake

Hello all. My wife and I were planning a trip to the lakes. We would be coming from southern Indiana. I have been looking for some info and have tried to call the KFWD but cannot get through. Does anyone know if the travel restrictions have been lifted? We would be staying at a rental through Home Away so not any parks or campgrounds.
    Thanks for any help.

Ruled by a judge to be unconstitutional.

Not to mention they were not enforced nor could be enforced. I go to Tenn almost daily.

That being said, the above is not legal advise and you should consult someone more "in the know" and do what you feel comfortable with.

Thanks for the reply. If I get arrested I promise not to mention your name. I surprisingly got a reply from the KDFW and they basically said the same thing. However I would net to quarantine for 14 days? Even though I would like to I’m not staying that long.

As said earlier that’s unenforceable. I live near Paris landing just south of the state line. Lots of people are back and forth across the state line every day.

They want us to live in constant fear, it's baloney. Come down, keep your social distances, and enjoy yourself.

I've fished Elk Creek dozens of times, Hardy as well.

If you did get caught, it's only a low level misdemeanor with a fine of $250 and possibly a week in jail but with COVID-19 they aren't wanting to send folks to jail at all. I'd say $250 would be worth taking the trip.

KY is already starting the process to open back up next week with Phase 1 openings, campgrounds are slated to reopen June 11th as part of Phase 2.

Elk creek and Hardy use to be awesome to fish. I’ve not been to elk creek in years. They really screwed Hardy up when the grass and lilies. The grass is coming back some so maybe in a few years it may rebound. They also stocked with yellow bass. You can catch small ones by the boatload.
