BnM's PST rods come in 10'

I need to get some 10’ rods to pull cranks with but would also like to be able to use 3 oz weights with them as well. Does anyone have a recommendation? I have some Southern Crappie 143T and some 14’ BnM Pow R Trollers that work great for both but neither come in a 10’. Thanks in advance.

CP, I asked BnM about those and they said that they only recommend 2oz on them. Have you used them with 3 oz?

No, I have not. I only use 2oz weights for cranks & 1oz weights for jigs when I'm Pushing. I have only used my 10' rods with 1oz weights when Pushing jigs. I haven't really gotten into Pushing cranks that much, yet.
I'd go with BnM's recommendations ... even though I don't really understand how that 1oz difference is such a big deal.I mean, what's the difference in flipping a 13oz fish into the boat vs flipping a 12oz one ?? You set your reels drag accordingly so that the rod doesn't overload & break, so what would be the reasoning behind that recommended weight limit ?? Did they say ??
Brian, I took a couple of Southern Crappie SCR122 and cut them down to 10’. I had to get catfish rod tips but they work great. Been trying to convince Ed to make a 10T for years.

Doug, that may be the way that I have to go. I’ve got some old 12’ BnM West Point rod that I could do that with.

The 10' PST rod can handle the 3oz weight. I've used em for down rods when cranking. But it will roll over and have a lot of bend in it.
BnM Silver Cat Magnum 10' in either spinning or casting will do the job and not bend the rod way over.
