Tip #6.5: Scent - hard to beat Slab Sauce or "G" Sauce!!!
Tip #24: Frequent "crappie.com" often for more tips, tricks and knowledge.
Tip #25: Don't be afraid to try something different from your usual.
To go along with #7, use tackle that increases your ability to feel those light or "mush-mouth" bites. I like a chartreuse braid mainline and a fluorocarbon leader. Rods and line make a big difference in being able to feel limbs verus bites. Don't be cheap when it comes to those two things.

Tip 28 keep very good records of water temp, time of year, water height, wind, water temp, and flow if fishing a river. Since I fish a lot of river environment flow is the number one item that determines where Crappies will be.
Great tips from all!
