a girlfriend back when, had me warning her about not hurting my rod tips on a windy day when she got out of my old 57 chevy pickup back when .
she gave me some kind of smart remark and jumped out of the truck and is like it was scripted …
my absolute FAVORITE rod fell out of the truck about a foot past the tip and the wind caught the door and KABOOM !
The look of total and utter fear on her face was ….shall we just say PRICELESS
I eventually got over her and hardly remember her , but I still remember that Lew's speed stick 6 foot one pc like it was yesterday

A good rig is protected like a child, and sometimes we lapse in our attention. Thankfully, the children survive but the rods and reels fall by the wayside. Good equipment sometimes falls in our lap. We buy something for one reason and it turns into a favorite. Sent you a PM.
