I came across a new to me material that has been proven to be a Crappie slayer. The store where I found it only had a limited supply of Palmer Chenille in large size. I found it for sell at several fly tying shops on line, but none seem to have it in stock. Does anyone got any insight on a sight that may have it in stock. I’m only interested in the chenille that’s is banded across one end as can be seen in the package. I’ve included a couple of pics of ties I’ve done using this material. Thanks for any assistance that may be offered.

What I have bought came from Sportsmans warehouse also. I am sure it is packaged for sportsmans. There my be some clues on the package as to who made it for them. That may help with finding it.

I'm pretty sure it all comes from WAPSI. They stamp the place selling it in the white area. I think some places call it baitfish chenille. There is different lengths of it.

There are a few products that Hareline Dubbin sells and JS probably has them all. One I used years ago was the Krystal Hackle and it's nice and long enough at 1 1/4" Long. Maybe I have a pic? I will look.
Also check out the Ice Dub Minnow Back Fringe at JS.

I called these Wild Jigs and these I tied in 2013. I think you could use this material without the feathers, I just wanted both, lol!
