I have great disdain for Frogg Toggs. Been left wet and angry to many times. I also hate spending bunches of money as well. Kinda a catch 22 for me, each time I get wet in a cheap suit I say to myself a $300 suit right now be worth it's weight in gold. Then I dry out and figure I press my luck one more time rain jacketrain jacket cabela's guide wear, BPS 100 mph suits or artic armor will be the main choices posted by the dryer fishermen that I know of below! I will be following after getting soaked again last weekend... Lol

For a light breathable rain jacket and pants....i have Columbia. For cold weather I have Artic Armor coat and bibs. I like them.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I have a Goretex jacket from REI. It's not cheap, but it's pretty awesome.

BPS hundred mile suit. pricey but I stay very dry. Can have phone in pocket and its dry. I have had mine at least ten years with exultant experience. Well worth the 500 I paid.

Bass pro shop 's "pro qualifier ". Take liner out in warm weather . Extreme cold weather I wear "Game hides 's " hush hide winter wear but it must be below 20 degrees .

Bass Pro dos t make pro qualifier any more. They upgraded their Bone Dry which is a little lighter than 100 mph but also a lot cheaper. I have looked at it a couple of times and seems well made. Might look it up and check reviews. A good Gortex suit of any kind is well worth the money in the long run because if you take care of it it will last forever.

Used a military surplus gortex rain jacket for years. It can be hot in warm weather but it is dry
