    Default Wilson 4/21


    Found pretty good BG in 8-10 fow. We were using a combination of things bet the best bait was red wigglers. Caught several small mouth and large mouth in the mix some of the ditch pickles went 5lb easy they're a blast on UL with 4lb test.

    The shellies were few and far between and they were found patrolling the banks in shallows.

    Took the my youngest daughter and my wife for a little fresh air time... In typical 2020 fashion they had vanished. Figured shallower for a little fanning. Caught a few gooduns but put em back. My daughter will probably work for PETA. Had one ditch pickle that made the ride home for some croquettes. Glad to see it still had eggs.     Pretty fish. Was a time I would fish Wilson.....Wheeler....Pickwick all in same day. Ahh....the power of youth.....LOL.

    A good trip in good company, always worth the time. Good bass on light tackle is a good time, and any smallie is always fun.

    Not bad! Just tell your daughter that it is in humane to throw ALL of the fish back. If everyone did that, some of the fish would starve to death! Ha ha ha.
