    Default 4 Rod Rotation.

The waters at Nickajack Lake are very slow to warm up....60 degree when I launched in the lake. Not a bluegill to be had...so I loaded up and fished a very wavy tailrace with a Super Ultra Light....Xtra Ultra Light.....the Lunakia.....and the Banshee 6’ 7”. I got the bonus largemouth on the Banshee Super Ultra Light....what a rush on that rod with ester line. Then put in below the dam to spot lock and catch over 150 white bass using a 4 rod rotation.....had an absolute ball. The bluegill have to show up sooner or later in the lake....if they can slow the water down below the dam there would be plenty Gills....shellcracker....but today there was far too much current on the side they hang out on.

    Regards

Yeah.....he was hanging around a big bluegill spawning area.....of course no bluegill there yet. I get into a lot of them during the bluegill spawn.....I guess they hang around the beds picking off bluegill.

    Regards

Great catch, White Bass are such fun. The size you were catching are drag screamers for sure. That Bass is nice also, hanging around the shallows looking for a bedding spot maybe. I got out a bit this afternoon, stuck a bunch of short Specks on the Corto.

Water temperatures were 63 up here this afternoon, slow to warm this year for some reason.

Awesome Randy! The bluegill are scarce around here too. I think the cold front pushed them deeper. Out of the four rods you used, which did you enjoy fishing the most and why? Thanks for your insight.
