    Default Dropshot hook for crappie.

What hook do you guy use for dropshot? Even I like seeing bobbers go up and down, but as a long time bass angler I still love to feel the tab.
I used #6 spin shot but all out. Last night I tried to find small hook and only have #6 but circle hook. I need to restock those so want you guy opinions.

I use #2 or 1 Tru-turn hooks for drop-shot and when slip bobber fishing. A smaller hook runs the risk of deep hooks and a bleeding fish. Most of the time that’s not an issue. In a crappie tournament, big issue.

I use a #6 tournament legal circle hook with a Zoom 3 inch fluke for drop shot . I use a Hitchhiker screwed all the way in the nose and put hook thru the eye. Almost impossible to lose a fish , circle hook catches the upper lip almost every time . Don't have to set the hook, just lift and reel.
