Glad to hear it. It was a dumb move closing them in the first place IMO. Still need to enforce social distancing though.

About fell out of my chair . I went out this morning for the first time in a while with my favorite Uncle. We had a bad day with wind, muddy water and boat miss haps. We survived it thought. I hope the idiots do muck it up again on the sand bars and Island. You'll enjoy itI know I will.

All ramps may not be open. The new rule gives owners of ramp the option to stay closed or to open. It also gives them the option to close them once again if people are not following the rules of social distance.

Ramps will be open after 12 noon today. Give them time to respond to the order that was given late yesterday news. Lot of people are going to rush out there and be inline. I'm sure Duke Energy is aware of what was said. The pier at Big Allison is still closed as well as the sand bars and Islands. Just hope the dummies don't blow it for us again! I might just head to Monticello instead of Wylie.![]()
Just left Big Allison boat ramp and it is filling up quick. Also saw a man and woman fishing on the pier.Didn't take long for them to break the rules. People were on the bank fishing! So, I guess it won't be long and it could be closed again. One fellow I talked to said everything is open to everyone to use. I told him he better read the DNR news letter on what's open and not. But I'm not his keeper or the law. I hope they fine people for being stupid this time. Oh! and some jet skiers were putting in as I turned up the hill to go out of the ramp area. I wish the water was cold.
