    Tough day, fish were scattered everywhere, caught 15, kept 7. At least the catfish was biting for a while.

    FYI, if you are planning a trip the end of this week...just above the 280 bridge is orange...and not a light orange, a deep muddy orange. Lake is going to be muddy in a few days.

    I went too. First time I've fished Blackshear since 2009 just before I left for Iraq. Having to relearn the lake again. Caught 20 and one crappie. Water was getting Muddy from all the rain Monday and fished until noon.
