I echo what Dr. Brewer states. When the viral vector epidemiology of COVID-19 is finally fully understood it is possible that we will come to the realization that going fishing was an extremely high risk action.

I just finished reading a very long report on what is actually known about this virus. Epidemiology is the study of epidemics ( pandemics). Most seem to agree that the virus was discovered in Wuhan, China, at one of China's two centers for research located there. Those centers have a failed record of viral containment, with at least two leaking out to the public. Bats play a very important role in this study of the vectors which carry the viruses that could plaque us all. But then there's research about shrimp. Are the vectors leaked viruses, shrimp, bat feces and/or urine, or something else. We just don't know, therefore, to my way of thinking, we should be exercise extreme caution. I was a young grade school student in the 50's. My two greatest fears were the Russians having the bomb, and polio. I had classmates that I sat next to, said goodbye on Friday and never saw again. Many my age were killed, or permanently crippled. The last person to be alive on an iron lung just died, last year, I think. I remember being told not to go swimming in a lake, wash your hands when you defecate, don't do this and don't do that. When they came out I got the Salk vaccine once and the sugar cube vaccine twice.....I wanted to be sure. The vectors are not clearly understood now, so why take the chance of ruining your life, or someone else's? It would help to have a little honesty from the Chinese.

Snagged again thanked you for this post
There’s no mention of fishing. I wonder how many fishermen have tested positive for COVID-19?
