Charlie, I went into much more of my feelings about this on my Facebook post. I don't want to expose my friends or family foremost but also clients. We've all worked with folks who thought making a buck was more important than staying home and not exposing the whole office or plant to some contagious bug they had. I'm sure there are some of those walking among us now. The vast majority of my clients are out-of-staters and I have zero idea if or when they might have been exposed. I don't want to spend the rest of the days I have left feeling guilty should I unwillingly exposing others to it. Not saying that couldn't happen anyway but I think I'm lessening the chance. BTW, my wife and I are getting reacquainted (after 45 years of marriage) by being cooped up together.

Doug and ALL the guides. I truly feel your pain for not being able to do what you look forward to every day. I think all Guides should stop until this stuff with the virus calms down. We all have boats/gear sitting and waiting to get out even if we are not a guide. Do what we need to do and stay home until this thing is over. I hope my trip with MR in early May still will go forward, but I understand if it get's cancelled due to the virus. I admire MR for his decision and hope he gets some relief for his loses from the Small business payments in this last Virus package from the government due to the Federal shutdown of non-essential businesses. I would like to propose a 2020 rule(this year). All customers pay 20% more for the listed service fee and add 20% tip for the service for at least 3 months after this stuff is over to get all these people whole again. This would cover some of their losses due to the shutdown of their business for at least 1-2 months. Just my thoughts.

Doug, if you can think of any way I can help you here on crappie.com, by all means let me know. That goes for all our guides. I don’t know, maybe advertising, a forum of your own, don’t know, but let’s think about it. I believe that all our members are willing to help. Just don’t know how. Maybe even send guides donations. That might help. I’d ask that they go direct to the guide though. But I can give out mailing addresses via pm if anyone is interested.

    Guys! Please! I’ll be fine.
I’m taking the spare time to work on my garage and get some things done around our place. I won’t mention I have mashed both big toes and will lose the nails by dropping 4x10’ sheets of blandex wall-board EDGEWISE onto both big toes. Did I mention I had tennis shoes on at the time? Over 30 years having to wear steel-toed boots in plants and I wear tennis shoes to my garage job!! Oh well.
My sincere thanks to all for suggestions but this will get better soon. I’m blessed with a wonderful wife who has a great job (and loves to pull cranks). Thanks to the kindness of Excel Boats I have their boat to use for free until my new boat is done soon.
If any have extra $$ laying around, I’m sure all of our communities have organizations that are helping those less fortunate who need daily.
    I’ll be fine.
