    Speaking of Lake Perris, has anyone heard from Ledhed? His reports were always great.

    He usually lays low during winter....I'm sure he will start posting soon...but then again I don't know just how it is on the states lockdown there.

    I saw that one years ago and think its real . they seem to grow about as big as a trophy crappie in some spots .
    one thing for sure a red ear around here over a lb is an eye opener

    I read an article may have been on here that there’s a lake in I think Arizona that produces 3+ lbers regularly but over 5 that’s enormous. That one would be interesting on a 6 ft ultralight

    It's Lake Havasu, which is where that fish was caught. There was another 5-pounder plus caught even more recently.
